About the Event
It's time for a real family-style potluck event to celebrate each others' different cultural roots. Come and share your national food, tell us a story about your national traditions or festivities, and enjoy the diversity of the IMBA!
At least 300 NT$ worth of food per person
- You can cook it or buy it. We won't force you in the kitchen :) But make sure that you bring something that can be served in small portions, so more people can try it.
- Please, prepare a small introduction about your food (what is it, when do you usually eat it, which national festivity is it related to, etc.). You can also bring your national flag, other national items or pictures, posters about your home country that you want to show to your classmates :)
- You can team up with your classmates from the same country to bring a bigger amount of the same food. Find partners and coordinate your cooking team on our Foodie Form.
- Our Taiwanese classmates can share their local food from their hometown, so we have a greater variety of Taiwanese cuisine. Also, please write your selected food in the Foodie Form to avoid duplication.
Show us some awesome cultural performances (e.g. dancing, singing, storytelling, etc.) in exchange for volunteer hours.
Apply in the registration link, and the SC will decide on the exact number of volunteer hours based on the necessary preparations for your performance.
We are so excited to taste all the food that we will have at the event!
